Red pak choi

The red pack choi belongs to the same botanical family of cabbage, called Brassicaceae. It comes from China and its cultivation has developed in Japan. It is also classified as mustard. Its leaf is dark red inside that turns to dark green towards the outside, it has a characteristic shape of a “spoon”. Its taste is fresh and its flavour is like mild mustard. It is good for salads as well as pan-fried or boiler.
