Tatsoi

The tatsoi  belongs to the same botanical family of cabbage, called Brassicaceae. It comes from China and its cultivation has developed in Japan. It is also classified as mustard. Its leaf assumes the shape of a “spoon” and is green and slightly glossy. Its taste is fresh and its flavour is like mustard. It is used both for the preparation of salads and  for the preparation of soups.
